A comprehensive, holistic approach to your health and beauty care.
As a naturopath, I like to closely work together with pharmacists and GP’s to safely combine evidence based natural medicine with western medicine. This enables us to create treatment plans designed for your specific health needs.
Being an international resident, enables me to help my clients in a variety of ways, specialising in a holistic approach. I have always been very intuitive and most times when I see the people or clients in front of me, I can quickly understand why they are here.
I can provide an alternative view of reading blood tests, hair analysis, epigenetic DNA test and so on, including body analysis.
How a Naturopathy Consult can help you.
- Emotional and spiritual wellbeing
- Nutritional deficiencies/ imbalances
- Digestive and absorption issues
- Food sensitivities
- Environmental toxins and detoxification
- Adrenal dysfunction, stress and fatigue
- Blood sugar imbalances
- Candida and other fungal / parasite
- Hormonal imbalances
- Nervous system dysfunction and mental health
- Genetic tests such as methylation genes
- Stool analysis to investigate gut bacteria, fungi, parasites and digestive ability
- Food allergy tests
- SIBO breath test to identify small intestinal bacterial overgrowth
- Adrenal hormones, their daily rhythm and metabolism
Prevention is always better than cure, and of course we always educate the client about their health and encourage them to get involved with their own health care.
I have completed the online module in epigenetics DNA test. Interpreting genetic profiles isn’t easy, but every time I have done this test for my clients, I realise it is fascinating how our genes interact with our lifestyle choices, such as nutrition, exercise and environmental exposures.
My favourite tool to look at your individual uniqueness is to request a functional test.
Functional tests are specialised tests that measure how the body’s biological and biochemical processes are working as a whole. These can be invaluable in identifying the underlying cause of your health issues.
A test is most often non-invasive and typically involves a breath, blood, saliva, urine, hair or stool sample.
- Thyroid hormones (TSH, T4, T3, rT3) and thyroid antibodies
- Neurotransmitters- serotonin, GABA, dopamine, noradrenaline, adrenaline, glutamate, histamine
- Liver detoxification pathways
- Sex hormones (e.g. estrogen, progesterone, testosterone) and their pathways
To get the most out of our time together, I will ask you to complete a health questionnaire.
We will start with a 1 hour first consultation to establish a full case history where we will go through health history, family history, diet, any ongoing symptoms etc. If you have any relevant blood tests or medical reports, please bring them with you or email them to me prior to the consultation.
All treatments will vary depending on the individual and their requirements. We will go through your treatment plan at the end of the consultation where we will discuss what is required ie change of diet, exercise, taking of supplements etc. to help you achieve your goals. I will send out the treatment plan and a summary of the consultation via email.
Any follow up consultations will generally take about 1 hour and may be required 2 to 4 weeks after the initial consultation depending on the situation.
If you are finding it difficult to come in to the clinic, phone and zoom consultations are also available on request.
